What is the Capacity of the Hall?
The hall can hold a maximum of 130 people.
When I Hire the hall what is included?

Access to the area booked (Main Hall with stage or Meeting room)

Kitchen & Facilities (including fridge/freeze, cooker, hot water boiler, crockery and cutlery)

Tables & Chairs (approximately 10 x Round Tables 5ft diameter, 6 x large trellis tables 6ft by 2ft 3in wide, 17 x medium trellis tables 5ft by 2ft 6in wide, 2 x small trellis tables 2tf 6in by 2ft 6in, 60 red chairs, 36 x grey chairs and 14 x blue chairs.)

Toilet facilities including disabled and baby changing.

Outside patio and grass area.

Are you able to serve Alcohol?
Yes, you may serve alcohol; however, the Hall does not have its own Bar or Licence.

Selling alcohol via an outside bar (hired by you), you will need to apply to Cheshire West and Chester Council for a Temporary Events Notice.

Alcohol provided free of charge to guests does not require a Temporary Event Notice.
Do you offer any additional services?
Yes, we offer Marquee hire.
Are you Liceneced for Wedding cermonies?
No, however, we do work in conjunction with the Local Village Church, St. Mary's.
Can we decorate the Hall?
Yes, you can decorate the hall.
Use of the following is prohibited:

Candles/live flames
-
Nails, hooks and pins.

Blu-tack or cellotape.
-
Confetti unless biodegradable.
-
Permanent alterations to the hall.
Is there parking at the Hall?
Yes, you can park approximately 10 - 12 cars in the car park.
Is the Hall wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the ground floor is wheelchair accessible this includes the toilet facilities.
The meeting room on the first floor is only accessible by stairs.
If I have to cancel what is your refund Policy?

What are the Hall's opening times?
The hall is open 7 days a week from 8 am to 11 pm.
There may be other times the hall is closed due to certain public or bank holidays.

How and when do I pay?

This varies based on the type of booking; typically, a 25% booking fee (non-refundable) is required at the time of booking.

Balance payments:

Weddings - 30days before the date of hire.

Other Bookings - 7days before the date of hire.
Can I have fireworks?

No, this is prohibited due to local by-laws.
Can we use a Bouncy castle?

Yes, both indoor and outdoor bouncy castles are allowed.

Is aware of the 9 ft height restriction indoors
Why is the Wedding hire period set over 3 days?

This is to allow for setup the day before and for breakdown and clean up the day after.

Typical hire is from 2 pm Friday - 2 pm Sunday, but can be extended at additional cost.
Do you provide catering?
No, however, you are welcome to hire a caterer or bring your own food.

What should we do with any waste?

The Hall has no commercial waste facilities; we therefore require all hirers to remove their own waste and dispose of it at home.

Under no circumstances must the hirer dispose of their waste in the council bins outside, as any fine for this shall be passed on to the hirer.
